What is the Front Wide-View Camera?

See what's coming from either side. On the front of the Ford vehicle, there is a tiny, panoramic camera installed in the grille. This camera relays an image to your car’s multi-function display in a split-screen so that you can see any pedestrians, vehicles or cyclists coming from either side of your vehicle. It offers a 180-degree view of approaching traffic. This allows the driver to be confident that the surrounding areas are safe.

The Front Wide-View camera is incredibly helpful if you are moving out from a junction onto a busy road with an obstructed view or edging out of a narrow parking space. Because of this technology, drivers should feel safer when emerging from a blind junction.
