The Ford Fiesta Mk6 was a more developed Fiesta. It had maintained the Ford Focus look and was the start for faster Fiestas with the introduction of the Fiesta ST. The exterior of the Mk6 was more square with more space and it was famous for having advanced technologies which the older models did not have. This included power-folding mirrors, Bluetooth with voice control, a trip computer, automatic headlights and automatic wipers.

Available as a 3/5-door hatchback, 4-door saloon and 3-door panel van, the Mk6 was one of the most efficient, inexpensive cars on the market. This was recognised through its many accolades, including being the most popular supermini in the UK in 2006/7 and being the third most reliable small car in 2009 according to Warranty Direct statistics.
