Ford Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

What is Ford Anti-lock braking system (ABS)?

Advanced systems for more controlled braking.

Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake-force distribution combine to ensure that your braking is more controlled and effective. It works in conjunction with Electronic Stability Control by monitoring the behaviour of the vehicle through advanced sensors. It allows the wheels to maintain traction control on the road surface based on driver behaviour whilst braking, which then prevents the wheels from locking up and therefore, prevents skidding.
