The Ford B-MAX has been developed especially for the urban driver.
Designed with the urban driver in mind, the Ford B-MAX offers a unique design with a range of technologies adapted to ensure a more comfortable, enjoyable, and efficient driving experience. The unique Ford Easy Access Door System conceals its central strengthening pillars within the doors, giving you an unobstructed 1.5m wide aperture on each side, making loading and unloading effortless. For added convenience, the rear and front passenger seats fold flat, giving you an unprecedented load space of up to 2.35m in length.
EXTERIOR & INTERIOR
With a spacious interior and seven different seat folding combinations, all kinds of cargo can fit perfectly in your B-MAX. The B-MAX has an auto-start-stop feature for the 1.0 125PS EcoBoost engine, which means the system will automatically shut down when the vehicle is idle, at a red light for example. When the driver is ready to move off the engine will restart, convenient and fuel efficient. With 114g/km CO2, the B-MAX has a best in class level of CO2 emissions and a best in class fuel efficiency of 57.7 mpg (combined fuel cycle).
Models Variants available are the Zetec Navigator, Titanium Navigator and Titanium X Navigator.
Technologies available as standard or optional in the B-MAX:
Active City Stop
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
Intelligent Protection System (IPS)
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
Emergency Brake Assist
Euro NCAP Advanced Reward
Ford SYNC® with Emergency Assistance and Active City Stop have both received a Euro NCAP Advanced reward: the highest given by Europe's leading independent safety organisation. The reward recognises only the most advanced avoidance, crash and post-crash technologies available in a car. And it's a measure of Ford's commitment to safety that across our range, we've now received a total of seven Euro NCAP Advanced rewards, for all innovations designed to protect you.
* The declared fuel consumptions and CO2 emissions are measured according to the technical requirements and specifications of European Directive 80/1268/EEC and the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 as amended by (EC) 692/2008. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are specified for a vehicle type and not for a single car. The applied standard test procedure enables comparisons between different vehicle types and different manufacturers. In additional to the fuel efficiency of a car, driving behaviour as well as other non-technical factors are very important in determining a car’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. CO2 is the main greenhouse gas responsible for global warming. A guide on the fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contain data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge or can be downloaded from http://carfueldata.dft.gov.uk/.
